Stage 1. User flows and Stakeholder interviews

Kicked off the project by creating detailed user flows to map out the intended user journey and interactions. Conducted extensive interviews with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring the project aligned with their goals and requirements.

Stage 2. UX Strategy

Developed a comprehensive UX strategy focused on building a dynamic dashboard that allows researchers to create custom dashboards for their datasets. This involved selecting layouts and chart styles through an intuitive drag-and-drop interface.

Stage 3. Prototype Development

Created initial wireframes to visualize the core design and functionality. Transitioned these wireframes into high-fidelity prototypes, leveraging Adobe XD and Figma to bring the design to life with detailed visual elements and interactivity.

Stage 4. User Testing & Iteration

Tested the prototype with 15 users to gather valuable feedback. This iterative process involved refining the design based on user insights, ensuring the final product met their needs and expectations.

Stage 5. Implementation & Launch Support

Collaborated closely with the development team to ensure a smooth transition from design to implementation. Provided ongoing support and guidance during the development phase, addressing any design-related challenges that arose.

Outcomes

The redesigned fitness tracker app received overwhelmingly positive feedback from users, who praised its improved usability, engaging design, and motivational features. The project was a significant learning opportunity, enhancing my understanding of user-centric design principles and the impact of design on user behavior and app retention.
